I was quickly glancing through a magazine this morning and saw this little mini-article on Moby. I haven’t honestly listened to too much of his music but apparently we see eye to eye on other things. (specifically ‘on the church’ i don’t really do politics and I’m not a celebrity)
On the Church:
“Individual Christians are quietly doing amazing things. The quiet, humble ally trying to walk in the footsteps of Christ. It’s the loud, arrogant, judgemental, obnoxious Christians who seem to give the rest of Christianity a really bad name.”
On celebrities and consumerism:
“Nowhere is it written that musicians are supposed to be worth a hundred million dollars, traveling around the world in private jets.”
On George Bush:
“A lot of what I want to talk to him about is faith. Because I try not to judge, but I really don’t understand the notion of a pro-capitalist, pro-death penalty, pro-war Christian. To me, that just seems like a vegetarian who eats a burger.”
I debated whether or not to quote the George Bush one because I’m really just not interested in politics…but I don’t know, maybe I like the drama.

While I’ll admit there are a few Moby songs that I am fond of, they all seem to be from one LP. His thoughts are interesting. While I can’t stand arrogant, judgmental, obnoxious people, I have no problem with loud. As far as private jets, the artists bought into it. They fell for the game and it’s biting everyone in the butt right now. On the Bush issue, where to begin. You shouldn’t believe a man is Christian just because he says so. You look at his actions. Point blank.
Great job on the site Rob. I’ve been meaning to post a comment since I first saw it, but I got distracted.

Thanks Willie! I appreciate your input, and I love hearing your thoughts.
It always seems safe to keep the personal thoughts unposted but that’s where life typically happens :) So I always enjoy hearing other’s views. I hope everything has been going well with you.
